Intelligent eye-screen protector is a Hackathon project that helps computer users to quit their inappropriate behavior of using computers. We mainly focus on two rules: (1) the distance between the eyes and the screen should be appropriate (distance = diagonal (inch)*2.54 * 1.5) , and (2) users should take a rest after using computers for 40 minutes. Hence, we created our intelligent eye-screen protector with Arduino to detect the distance.
We also built a reward system for the users to make sure users are willing to adjust their posture. They can level up their Tamagotchi if they keep themselves in a good posture.
